Nothing at all until you choose. The site is fully static and sets no cookies of its own — no session, no login, no tracking that we control.

When you answer the banner, your choice is written to your browser's local storage under the key amony_cookie_consent. It stays on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is what stops the banner asking again on every page.

If, and only if, you accept, we load Google Analytics 4. It tells us which pages are read, roughly where readers come from and which links they follow — in aggregate, never as individual profiles.

If you reject, or ignore the banner entirely, Google Analytics runs in consent-denied mode: it sets no cookies, stores no identifiers, and nothing is tied to you from one visit to the next. Your browser does still contact Google's servers, which therefore see your IP address and the page you are on. Advertising, ad personalisation and ad user data are denied in every case, whatever you choose.

We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not combine it with anything else.

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Ltd. With your consent it sets cookies whose names begin with _ga, with a lifetime of up to 24 months, and IP addresses are anonymised.

Use the button below, or the same link in the footer of any page, to reopen the banner and answer differently. Rejecting after having accepted stops any further collection immediately.

You can also clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings, which resets the site to its initial state — the banner will simply ask again.
